Director of Development - Visiting Nurse Services of CT, Bridgeport – The successful incumbent will focus on administering, directing, and coordinating fund raising activities and grant procurement. Significant duties include development and coordination of annual/special giving programs/events, constituent database, special events, and fostering relationships with volunteers and donors. The individual will proactively seek and procure grants to support VNS programs, services, and needs. Candidate will also develop and participate in planning for long-range strategies and growth of fund raising and grant-writing activities of the Corporation, recommending initiatives, and formulating major objectives.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Marketing, or related field. Five (5) years experience of progressive development and grant writing experience with proven successful fund raising campaigns and grant awards. Experience in a non-profit, health care or related business preferred.

Development Director – The Mattatuck Museum seeks a creative and strategic thinker to lead efforts to expand and diversify the museum’s funding sources and donor base.
